Defined Standards for Building Safety and Comfort

Building Code Resources for Archicad Users

Staying up to date with the latest building codes is essential for architects, designers, and construction professionals. Whether you’re working on compliance, permitting, or ensuring your designs meet the latest safety standards, having quick access to reliable resources is key.

This page provides a curated list of resources, including the ICC 2024 code books, regional building codes, and best practices for integrating code compliance into your Archicad workflow.

2024 International Codes (ICC Digital Codes)

The International Code Council (ICC) 2024 publications are the foundation for building safety and regulations across the U.S. and beyond. These codes cover various aspects of construction, and are broken down into 15 publications.

Depending on your region, the ICC codes are commonly amended for local requirements, set by state or city jurisdictions.

The list of codes below includes both 2024, and 2021. Many jurisdictions have a delayed adoption cycle, and are still referencing 2021 I-Codes.
