How to Map IFC Properties in ARCHICAD

When adding BIM data to interactive schedules in ARCHICAD, we have several types to choose from.

• General Parameters
• Tools Specific Parameters
• Property and Classification Data
• Object Data
• IFC Data
• and more I'm sure to be forgetting...

One of the lesser used types, is the IFC Data, which can be accessed through the IFC Translation Scheme.

IFC has a ton of different purposes, but one purpose I find particularly useful, is mapping object data from various object types, into a single property, through a method we call property mapping.
