CONTRABIM Is back at the Global Archicad Conference, ARCHINTENSIVE 2023!

This year we've got a fun presentation on the Renovation Tool, where users will learn all about the basics and settings of the palette, as well as 10 Unique applications of the tool we think you'll find useful!

We also have this amazing little FREE SAMPLE DOWNLOAD to go along with the presentation, that is built from the CONTRABIM Template, which demonstrates the power of the Renovation Tool, by showing what is possible with the one and only Archicad Layer.

Demonstration Project 1

Vega Architecture

This library remodel and expansion project was used to calculate quantities and cost projections based on individual material and equipment takeoffs.

It features properties and material id's as a primary method of producing and organizing the data into trade groups.

Cost was entered directly into the elements properties, and exported to Excel for building  a comprehensive estimate.

This ground up residential project featured the CONTRABIM SYSTEMS 5D workflow, which leverages classifications, properties and expressions to calculate both quantity takeoffs, and cost calculations directly within Archicad, for live feedback of calculations in interactive schedules.

This approach was is different than the first example, as the primary reporting structure was based on building assemblies verses material types.

The number of reports are dramatically reduced in this case, allowing you to report faster and get the overall picture of your project costs sooner.
